Responsibilities:
· Greeting and handling visitors to the Firm in a warm and friendly manner and directing them appropriately, following established procedures and coordinating with the Office of Global Security as appropriate.
· Answering telephones in a friendly, professional manner, taking messages with accuracy, and appropriately handling or referring questions and requests.
· Handling on-floor conference room activities, both visually and through the reservations system, being aware of meeting start/end times, attendees in the room, food and beverage orders, etc. Advising the appropriate staff members of changes in meeting room status, special requests, etc.
· Acting as an overall Hospitality Services resource to guests, visitors, and employees in providing way-finding and amenities within the building, commute and transportation, community retail, neighborhood amenities, and organizational information.
· Acting as a central point of contact to communicate requests to the appropriate internal support teams such as building maintenance (e.g. heating and cooling issues), information technology (e.g. Zoom connectivity, computer issues), Audio Visual technology (meeting room technical support), and mail room (package pickups and deliveries) etc.
· Having a thorough understanding of the Firm’s emergency procedures and being prepared to carry out designated tasks in the event of a fire or other emergency.
· Maintaining the neat appearance of the reception area, where applicable keeping newspapers and periodicals in order, coffee service replenished, etc.
Experience/Skills:
· Minimum 2 years of working experience as a receptionist in a corporate environment.
· Excellent command of spoken and written English and Korean.
· Must have a ‘can do’ positive attitude and a customer-focused mindset.
· Experience of working within a team and desiring to provide a ‘best in class service.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook applications.
· Experience in using room booking systems preferred.
· Adapts to and understands company or organizational changes with a positive attitude.
