Responsibilities and Opportunities

• Serve in a supervisory capacity to help oversee a large team of 60 engineers.
• Assess the feasibility of potential design projects, determining what resources are required to complete them, recruiting, and managing employees, and serving as a liaison between team members and upper management.
• Knowledge of various codes and requirement
• Ensuring the validity of methods used by engineering staff and reviewing all important technical content for accuracy.
• Generate progress reports or problem resolution reports to upper management that detail how the manager's team has performed.
• Oversee project costing and budgets.
• Manage the senior members of each engineering department.
• Ensure compliance with project specific contracts and customer requirements.
• Developing detailed plans for new designs and products.
• Responsible for allocating and facilitating training for all new design staff.
• Responsible for the quality of work and cost management of the department.

Key Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical) is required and +10 years of experience in a management role of an engineering company. Experience in the design of Air separation plants and LNG plants a necessity.
• Skills required to support these duties include organization, critical and analytical thinking, leadership, and communication.
• Excellent planning skills for large scale industrial projects
• Excellent people management and upliftment skills.
• Proficient in English with good communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel/Word) & PDF
• Competent specially and in the packaging of plants and equipment
• Competent in multi-disciplinary management, electrical, instrumentation, mechanical design, structural.
