Key Responsibilities

Business Development

-Lead and mentor a team of business development specialists, providing guidance, support, and training to achieve individual and team goals.

-Develop and implement strategic plans to identify and pursue new business opportunities in new clearing and forwarding, sales action plan, and collaboration with transporters.

-Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers, particularly in the clearing and forwarding sector.

-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop customized solutions that meet clients' needs and drive value, leveraging partnerships with transporters.

-Oversee the preparation and delivery of persuasive presentations, proposals, and pitches to prospective clients, focusing on new clearing and forwarding services.

-Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements with transporters and other stakeholders to ensure favorable outcomes for both parties.

-Monitor industry trends, market developments, and competitive landscape in the clearing and forwarding sector to identify emerging opportunities and risks.

-Analyze sales performance metrics, track progress against targets, and develop action plans to drive continuous improvement in clearing and forwarding services.


Key Requirements

-Bachelor's degree or above holder

-Proven experience in business development, sales, or related role within the forwarding/ project cargo

-Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve results.

-Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence key stakeholders.

-Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
